I believe one of my relatives was a resident at Rosalie Manor and I’m searching for the child. Can you help me?
Because the records are closed, we can only release the information to the Resident herself. In addition, Rosalie Manor did not handle adoptions, and therefore we do not have any information on where the child was placed.
I was born at Misericordia Hospital. How do I get a copy of my birth certificate?
Rosalie Manor does not have the records from the Misericordia Hospital – they were transferred to Elmbrook Memorial Hospital. Elmbrook Memorial Hospital only keeps records for the past 25 years and do not have the records from the Misericordia Hospital. Therefore, medical records are not available.
If I was born at Misericordia Hospital does it mean that my mother was a resident of Rosalie Manor?
No. Misericordia Hospital was the premier birthing hospital during the 1940s – 1960s.
I know my birth mother was a Rosalie Manor Resident. Can I find out who she was?
Because the records are closed, we are unable to search for that information. In addition, we can only search by the Resident’s last name, and if the name is not known, it is not possible to track the Resident.
