Wisconsin Alliance for Healthy Marriage

WISCONSIN ALLIANCE FOR HEALTHY MARRIAGE (WAHM) was developed by Rosalie Manor and Parents Plus of Wisconsin in 2006.

As a statewide program, Rosalie Manor focuses on Milwaukee families with the goal of helping Milwaukee’s low-income expectant and new parents (infants three months or younger) form and sustain healthy relationships. Wisconsin Alliance for Healthy Marriage provides in-home marriage education and training, financial literacy training and pre-employment workshops to participants.

Horizontal Rule

Families are encouraged to take advantage of:

  • A monthly child development newsletter
  • The Keys to a Healthy Marriage curriculum
  • The Parents as Teachers curriculum
  • Information on financial literacy
  • Basic job training and pre-employment workshops

Children raised in households headed by married parents consistently fare better in life than those who grow up in other family structures. That’s what makes this community-wide initiative so crucial.
