Families United to Prevent Teen Pregnancy

FAMILIES UNITED TO PREVENT TEEN PREGNANCY (FUPTP) was developed by Rosalie Manor in 1986 and is a nationally recognized, copyrighted program that provides area teenagers (ages 12-18) with healthy messages about their bodies, their behaviors, and their interactions with peers. A dedicated website, www.ACryingShame.info, provides teens, parents and the community with useful information to help our community’s youths to make positive choices.

FUPTP encourages teens to refrain from all high-risk activities including postponing sexual activity until marriage and avoid the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s). Through interactive games, activities and exercises, learning about adolescent development, abstinence, healthy relationships and marriage is made interesting and fun for teens. FUPTP also works to improve life opportunities for young participants through a curriculum that includes topics such as:

  • Self Esteem and Self Concept
  • Thoughts-Feelings-Action Cycle
  • Values & Goal Setting
  • Communication
  • Developing Healthy Relationships
  • Adolescent Development
  • Sexual Relationships & Sexually Transmitted Diseases

The FUPTP message may now be brought to your classroom, school, after school program, business, or healthcare practice through Rosalie Manor’s Community Based Presentation Program. Request a presentation today! The first is FREE.
