Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services is committed to working for human and community development by helping families reach their full potential. Supportive services
are provided during pregnancy and after delivery to enhance parent-child relationships and help parents identify and pursue personal and career goals.
With understanding and compassion, Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services helps many single parents overcome problems of poverty, lack of support from peers, family members and other adults, and limited educational and career opportunities. Based on our commitment to families, the value-based educational program for adolescent
pregnancy prevention gathers children and their family members around the important subject of human sexuality.
Under the sponsorship of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Rosalie Manor Community & Family Services emphasizes quality programming, responsiveness to community
need and accessibility, regardless of ethnic origin, age, religious belief or ability to pay. With the needs of families constantly as our guide, Rosalie Manor Community & Family
Services provides innovative leadership in the field of pregnancy and parenting services in the Milwaukee area.
All of Rosalie Manor’s programs are voluntary, and include:
SUPPORTING TEEN FAMILIES (STF) is designed to provide intensive, family-centered services to pregnant and parenting teens and their families across Milwaukee. The teen parent is
the nucleus of this program with case management and parenting services being offered to the teen mother and baby, her parent (or another support person), and the father of the baby. This family-centered multigenerational approach has a greater impact on the family as a whole with a greater chance for long-term goal completion, strengthening of the family and reduces child abuses and neglect. There are two additional components to STF that assist families. The first is our nursing services that are offered to all family members. Our nurse provides childbirth education classes, nutrition information, assists families in creating a medical home, and helps answer medical questions family members may have. The second is our Job/Housing Coach who assists family members with basic employment attainment (job searches, completing job applications, interview tips) as well as finding safe and stable housing.
