July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004 Of 1,289 families served, only 12 were referrals to the Milwaukee Bureau of Child Welfare for child abuse/neglect concerns. City–wide consortium agencies served 2,417 families through Supporting Today's Parents. Teen Parent Nurturing Program served mothers and fathers, using the Nurturing Program. Pre–Natal Care Coordination began with 40 mothers enrolled. A goal of PNCC is to prevent pre-term births. 39 mothers carried to full term. 6 Job–Readiness workshops were provided in which 6 of 15 fathers secured jobs utilizing skills and information gained in the workshop.
