2 out of 3 Milwaukee Teens are Having Sex! Sexually Transmitted Infections are on the Rise!

Do your students need more guidance on the topics of goal setting, understanding adolescent development and building positive relationships?

Have the message of abstinence — not having sex before marriage — delivered at your school.

The statistics are alarming. The Milwaukee community ranks seventh in the nation for the percentage of total teen births. Reported cases of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are increasing steadily every year. Through Families United to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (FUPTP), an abstinence communication and education program, Rosalie Manor is fighting for the health, lives and futures of our teenagers.

Working to prevent teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases through abstinence education.

Rosalie Manor youth presentations empower teens to gain control of their lives. Geared toward young people ages 12 to 18, this program encourages teens to choose abstinence from all negative risk behaviors, and remain positive and healthy in the midst of societal and peer pressures.

Youth program topic choices include:

  • Self Esteem and Self Concept
  • Thoughts-Feelings-Action Cycle
  • SLEMA Decision-Making Process
  • Violence: Negative Expression of Thoughts and Feelings
  • Communication through the Media
  • Communication and Sexuality
  • Anatomy and Adolescent Development
